August 27th Devlog


This is a small level I created for the first project in my Game Design I class. I used this to familiarize myself with the built in modeling tools in Unreal. For the assignment, we had to create a goal and an obstacle. I decided to utilize the key/door system we already had in the project as the main objective. The start of the level introduces the goal (to get through the locked door), and it also introduces the falling platforms which are used more later in the level. After that, there is a more open area where you can find the key you need to get to open the door, but be careful! The falling platforms will now fall into a floor of lava, so you need to watch your step.
